PT. 1. Solar Panels
Solar panels, commonly referred to as solar cells, are components that convert sunlight into electrical energy using the principle of the photovoltaic effect. A solar panel is made of solar cells that convert light into electricity. Often termed as solar for their reliance on the sun, or "sol", because the sun is the strongest light source available for energy conversion. Solar panels are also known as photovoltaic cells, a term which translates to "light-electricity". These cells or PV cells rely on the photovoltaic effect to absorb sunlight and generate a current between two layers of opposite charges.

Solar energy, derived from solar panels, is frequently considered an alternative energy source to counter the rising costs of conventional, non-subsidized electricity. Sinarmonas distributes various types of cables, including low voltage, medium voltage, oil & gas, fiber optic, fire-resistant, and telecommunication cables.

4. FTTH (Fiber To The Home)
Fiber to the Home, abbreviated as FTTH, is a method of delivering optical signals from the provider to the user's premises using optical fiber as the transmission medium. This technological advancement is part of the ongoing development of optical fiber technology, capable of replacing conventional cables. Driven by the demand for Triple Play Services, which include high-speed internet access, voice (telephone network, PSTN), and video (cable TV) in a single infrastructure at the customer's unit, FTTH offers cost savings, operational expense reduction, and improved customer service. The inherent characteristics of optical fiber allow for the transmission of telecommunication signals over broader bandwidths compared to conventional cables.

5. PVC Compound
PVC compound is a mixture of PVC resin and various additives to achieve desired material qualities for specific applications. Without these additives, PVC resin cannot be processed. Common additives include plasticizers (for flexibility), heat stabilizers (for heat resistance during processing), fillers (for density and cost reduction), lubricants (for a smooth, shiny surface), and others like flame retardant additives, UV resistance, anti-fungal, and anti-termite properties.

PVC (Polyvinylchloride) compounds have been used as cable insulation material for about half a century, chosen for their strong tensile strength, elongation properties, excellent chemical resistance, easy processing (via extrusion, injection), and affordability.

PVC compound is one of the most widely used plastic materials across various industries, from carpet and flexible PVC hoses to rigid PVC pipes.

6. LED Lights
LED lights, short for light-emitting diode lights, are made from light-producing diodes arranged into a lamp. LED lights boast a longer lifespan and greater electrical efficiency compared to incandescent lamps and are far more efficient than neon lights. Made from semiconductor materials, unlike carbon-based incandescent lamps, LED lights are initially more expensive. However, it's important to remember that LED lights offer significantly better lifespan and efficiency than incandescent and neon lights, providing full brightness immediately without the need for a warm-up period.
