Fire-resistant cables are specifically designed for buildings that meet high safety requirements, such as emergency power supply stations, power plants, industrial factories, mining operations, railway stations, shipbuilding and offshore locations, data processing centers, alarm systems, ventilation systems, escalators, elevators, emergency lighting systems, and more.
These cables do not emit toxic or corrosive gases in the event of a fire, as they produce low smoke and are halogen-free, thereby preventing the spread of fire. To ensure the performance of fire-resistant cables, they are tested in accordance with IEC 60331 (formerly IEC 331), BS 6387, SS 299, or equivalent standards
